One of my message boards is holding a "celebrity death pool" for 2008. You know - pick the "famous" people you think will die during the course of the year and get points based on their age (i.e., more points for younger people).
It's incredibly tactless and will probably fuck with my karma, but my karma hasn't been all that great regardless.

Good call on Pete Doherty. In the British drug addict vein (no pun intended), I think that Amy Winehouse - or her husband, or both - won't be around to ring in 2009. Such a waste it will be, too.
