When I finished, I put them together in a slideshow on the computer, set to music. One of the songs I used was "Fields of Gold," by Sting. It's set in the summertime, but it seemed to work with pictures like this...
My mother loved snow, and she loved that slideshow, particularly "Fields of Gold." Years later, she would ask "Do you still have the snow pictures put to music on the computer?" and I'd mumble (truthfully) about how most of the pictures and the software I used to make it was on an old computer in the attic and that I'd put it together again "someday."
Someday never came. That property is now gone and so is she.
